Vertical packaging machines are commonly used in the packaging production of small and medium-sized snacks in daily life. The packaging style not only meets national hygiene standards, but also meets aesthetic standards. And it occupies a large market share in the packaging machinery industry, and the development and progress of the food market has brought a broader development market for packaging machines. However, there are still many customers who are not comprehensive enough about packaging machines, so their understanding of maintenance and upkeep of packaging machines is only rare. In fact, comprehensive maintenance of vertical packaging machines is divided into three steps: mechanical part, electrical part, and mechanical lubrication.

Maintenance of the electrical part of the vertical packaging machine:

1. The operator of the vertical packaging machine should regularly check whether the wire ends at each joint are loose before starting up;

2. Tiny particles such as dust may also affect some functions of the packaging machine. When dust falls on the probes of photoelectric switches and proximity switches, they are prone to misoperation, so they should be checked and cleaned regularly;

3. Detail oriented parts are also the focus of mechanical cleaning, such as regularly cleaning the surface of the transverse seal slip ring with soft gauze dipped in alcohol to remove carbon powder from its surface,

4. Some parts of the vertical packaging machine cannot be changed arbitrarily. Non professionals are not allowed to turn on the electrical parts. The parameters or programs of the frequency converter, microcomputer, and other control components have already been set. Changing them arbitrarily will cause system disorder and mechanical failure to work properly.

Lubrication of vertical packaging machine:

1. Rolling bearings are the most severely worn parts in machinery, so each rolling bearing should be lubricated with grease every two months or so using a grease gun;

2. Different types of lubricating oil are used for different parts. For example, the shaft sleeve on the packaging film roller and the shaft sleeve at the front sprocket of the feeding conveyor should be filled with 40 # mechanical oil in a timely manner;

3. Lubrication of the chain is the most common and relatively simple. Each sprocket chain should be timely dripped with mechanical oil with a viscosity greater than 40 #;

4. The clutch is the key to starting the packaging machine, and lubricating grease should be added to the clutch part in a timely manner.
